Step 1 - Application Form

Please complete the application form below for each abstract you wish to submit. Items marked are mandatory. Abstracts must be submitted no later than September 1, 2008.

Abstract should be no more than 250 words.

Before you begin: Ensure your abstract and biography is in one of the following formats, Microsoft Word, Adobe PDF, Microsoft Powerpoint or plain text. Abstracts submitted in any other format will not be processed.

Data acquisition - LiDAR and associated equipments, e.g. digital cameras
Systems integration - LiDAR sensors and complementary technologies and peripherals
Data fusion & processing technologies - feature extraction, enhancement, visualization, viewing and imaging techniques and software
Recent project examples - reporting on innovative or improved techniques and applications; the successes and the problems
Developents in GIS and data modelling relative to LiDAR operations
Trends in technology development
Industry issues - Federal/State LiDAR initiatives - operational challenges; setting standards; best practices; shortage of skilled personnel - recruitment issues
